Connect an assistant
Use https://pound.one/mcp with Streamable HTTP and no authentication. You do not need a pound.one account, API key or OAuth login. Follow the ChatGPT, Claude and Codex connection guide.
A normal browser opens that guide. A protocol GET request can return 405 because this server does not offer a standalone event stream; tools use POST. Unknown OAuth discovery addresses return 404 because pound.one does not publish an OAuth service.
Check a result
Keep the calculation link, the input values, selected measure and the data period shown in the result. Review how the calculations work. Salary inputs are annual, and the supported region must be supplied. The tool’s dates and assumptions take priority over an assistant’s paraphrase.
Connection failures
Confirm that the server address ends in /mcp, that authentication is set to none, and that the connector is enabled in your conversation. Retry after a short delay if the service is temporarily unavailable. For client-specific controls, use the official guides linked from the connection page.
Useful diagnostic details
Record the assistant name, time of the failure, tool name and HTTP status or error message. Do not include access tokens, passwords, financial account details or a full private conversation.
